Gameweek 19-Ones to watch

In the blink of an eye Gameweek 18 has concluded, with our attention moving swiftly on to Gameweek 19, which has some pretty juicy fixtures. It also means we need to make some very important tactical decisions, due to the upcoming ‘double’ fixture list for Fulham and Chelsea, or do we?. Some of you may easily make transfers without a care in the world, but for others its an absolute panic stricken nightmare. So let me offer you some guidance on who might be worth looking at before you decide on who makes the cut and who hits the chopping board for GW 19.

Martin Odegaard £6.5

The confidence that’s oozing out of this guy at the minute is plain to see, with him scoring a staggering 40 fantasy points over the last 3 Gameweeks adding 3 goals and 3 assists to his name. With a price tag of £6.5 million, it seems like the Norwegian is becoming a bit of a bargain, especially with him sitting in 2nd place for total points scored so far this season. My only concern would be Arsenals upcoming fixture list of Newcastle, Spurs and Man Utd, who will all hoping they can cause the gunners a few problems, however from Gameweek 22 its all green baby!

Douglas Luiz £4.8

This guy has completely gone under the radar over the last 3/4 weeks. Villa have had some pretty hard fixtures against Spurs, Liverpool and Brighton, however good old Dougy has managed to rack up a total of 22 points during that period. He’s great for an assist and with a price tag of £4.8 million, he’s an excellent option to come in off the bench if needed. Villas next 3 fixtures see them hosting Wolves and Leeds, with and away fixture at Southampton. Its also worth noting that if you’re trying to open up some much needed funds elsewhere, he could be your man to fund it!

Rodrigo Moreno £6.3

I can already hear the doubters with this pick, however hear me out before you completely dismiss the Spaniard! Pre-World Cup Rodrigo was on fire, returning 33 points from 4 games. He’s currently in 5th place on the EPL top goalscorers list with a total of 9 goals to his name. Lets not forget Leeds last 2 fixtures were against City and the re-generated Magpies! The next 4 Gameweeks see the Whites take on West Ham, Villa, Brentford and Forest, so for me he should be reigniting his love for goals and continue to hit the back of the net. As a differential I feel he could gain you some valuable points and with only 6% ownership amongst FPL players, he could be a great shout.

Good luck FPL Players, choose wisely and all the best for Gameweek 19.
