What to do with Foden?

If you still own Phil Foden then you’re probably asking yourself the same question as the rest of us, Shall I keep him for one last game week?  He’s absolutely scolded me for 3 weeks and of course 2 weeks prior to me purchasing the little pea head he was on fire, hauling in a whopping 30 points!

The fixture looks as juicy as it gets, with Man City playing at home against Brentford, who have conceded 11 goals in their last 3 away fixtures.  There’s one problem though and that Problem is ‘Pep Roulette’, he loves to keep us guessing, like a Croupier staring into your eyes with the words stick or twist being gently whispered into your ear (Sorry I got carried away there).

Pre Brentford, City have a tough midweek fixture against Chelsea in the League Cup, which should shed some light on the situation. If Foden starts and plays the full 90, it would suggest that there’s a strong possibility he’ll be benched for the weekend fixture. However, I’ve said that in previous game weeks and the opposite has happened!

My honest advice would be to give him one last shot, if he plays I can see him picking up a goal and an assist, especially with the Norwegian Viking back in the mix. When you look at who he could be replaced with in the market there’s minimal upside and lets not forget its goals galore when city play at home, with them scoring a staggering 23 goals across their last 6 fixtures at the Etihad!
